Unique Benefits for UNISA staff
The “UNISA Verified Staff” Group
By verifying, you’ll see a link to a unique group where you can engage in discussions between admins and the UNISA team. While we can’t promise immediate responses, we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Custom Identification
Earn a unique title in your groups upon verification. Reach out to an Admin to update your title, which may range from “UNISA Employee” to specialized titles like “UNISA Professor,” “UNISA Lecturer,” or “UNISA Tutor.”
Communication During Exams
Verified UNISA staff can bypass the group silence imposed 15 minutes before and 30 minutes after exams, ensuring uninterrupted communication.
Verification Process
There verification for UNISA staff is a two part process:
- Standard Email Verification (Click here to and tap on Start at the bottom to start this process)
- Once you Joined the “UNISA Verified Staff” Group, we need to manually check and update your title to one of the above mentioned Customized Titles. The verification is done by cross-referencing your email with information on the official UNISA website.
