1. Why Verification with Your Unisa Email?
Verification is essential to access Unisa’s Telegram study groups and other student resources. It confirms you’re a registered Unisa student, preventing spam and unauthorized access. Without verification, you risk being automatically banned from groups after 48 hours. It also unlocks:
- Exclusive study materials (past papers, summaries, tutorials).
- Module-specific discussions with peers and tutors.
- Seamless communication for academic support.
Skip verification, and you’ll miss out—so don’t delay! 🔗 Read more
2. Verification Steps
Verification is quick and easy via @UnisaGroupsBot:
- Start the bot and select the verification option.
- Enter your Unisa email (e.g.,
12345678@mylife.unisa.ac.za). - Check your inbox for the verification link—click it to confirm.
- Restart the bot to sync your access.
Pro tip: Use your official myLife email—personal emails won’t work. If you don’t see the verification email, check your spam folder or request a resend.
3. Fixing myLife Email Delivery Issues
Not receiving Unisa emails? Follow these steps:
- Check spam/junk folders—mark Unisa as “Not Spam.”
- Whitelist Unisa domains (
@unisa.ac.za,@mylife.unisa.ac.za) in your email settings. - Update your contact details on myUnisa to ensure accuracy.
- Test with a friend—ask them to send a message to your myLife email.
- Contact Unisa IT if issues persist (include your student number for faster help).
Common fix: Sometimes, forwarding rules or full inboxes block emails. Clear space and disable filters temporarily.
